Senior Commercial Production Underwriter job in Northern New Jersey

 A+ property and casualty insurance carrier is seeking a Senior Commercial Production Underwriter to write new business and market to the retail agency plants, New England to Virginia. Based in Central New Jersey and commutable for underwriters in the Eastern Pennsylvania Region, the qualified Production Underwriter will have a minimum of 5 years direct production underwriting for middle to large market accounts, commercial package, commercial multi line, 100K-1M in premium. Experience with large deductibles a plus. Proven background underwriting, closing and putting new business on the books. Local travel with some overnight required. Commercial Underwriters with standard primary carrier experience encouraged to apply. Professional growth opportunities. College degree preferred, designations(CPCU) a plus. Compensation to 115K base including bonus plan and full benefits package, including 401K and Pension Plan.
