Commercial Lines Account Manager job in Southeast Houston

The Rogan Group, a national Risk and Insurance Management Recruiting firm is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Manager in the Southeastern part of Houston. Our client is a very well respected top 40 independent broker with 22 office locations and $70M + in revenue.

• Our client is seeking a Professional to manage a small book of business ($300K of key accounts) and also lead and direct a staff of AMs and CSRs.

Key responsibilities:

• Carrier Relationships
• Assess current staff and work with them to better develop areas of weakness
• Direct work flow and new accounts to the appropriate Account Manager
• Run renewal meetings with Producers and AMs as needed
• Work closely with the Texas Regional President in shaping the strategy of culture of the office
• Conduct annual performance Reviews on the AM staff
• Make salary merit increase recommendations for AM staff
