Insurance - Senior Underwriter – Property Treaty opening in New York. Produce and analyze new and renewal property treaty business with an emphasis on a catastrophe exposed portfolio. The underwriter will work within a team, have delegated authority and be expected to make decisions, offer alternative recommendations and be responsible for a volume of business commensurate with their experience. Ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree; 3- 5 years of Property Treaty Underwriting Reinsurance experience with an emphasis on underwriting catastrophe exposed risks; Knowledge of both AIR and RMS exposure models is required as well as the ability to understand and interpret modeled output; Primary insurance experience or Broker market experiences are a plus.
