Sr. Loss Control Representative job in Denver

Loss control field opportunity is now available in Colorado territory. Well established insurance company is seeking your experience with various types of business risks conducting ssurveys and consulting with business owners.

DUTIES:

*1. Perform Loss Control surveys at policyholders place of business and submit electronic reports.

*2. Provide Loss Control Consulting Service to policyholders management for those accounts placed on service and assist with their Loss Control Program.

*3. Participate in the regional agency and employee technical development programs as required.

*4. Make effective agency calls to key Commercial Lines agents to explain Loss Control facilities and program.

*5. Successfully complete the training requirements in the company Loss Control Department Career Development Program.

*6. Follow all Company and Loss Control Department procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred 3 or more years experience in Loss Control & accident prevention.

Ability to complete surveys of policyholders’ operations. Provide consulting services to their management to reduce accidents and injuries.

Up to 30% overnight travel with an excellent driving record.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to make a favorable impression in all dealings with agents, insureds, and other Company personnel.

Ability to analyze data and make effective decisions.

Good computer skills.

College graduate preferred with a strong preference towards CSP designation.Preferred degree in Safety/Fire Prevention fields.

Strong math and mechanical aptitude.

Excellent organization and territory planning skills.
