Top rated insurance carrier is looking to hire a Sr. Workers Compensation Underwriter to work from their Orlando FL office. The successful candidate will underwrite and manage an assigned book and take the lead in the development and management of agency business plans. To qualify, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, marketing or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 4 years of commercial lines experience with an emphasis in workers compensation risk underwriting is required. I am seeking candidates who are individual risk underwriters with strong analytical skills and are team players. The ideal candidate will effectively coordinate and have the acumen to work across departmental lines to help assure the best possible outcome. Must have a professional appearance and demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Must also be comfortable presenting and promoting the company’s value proposition to individuals and groups.
