Group Employee Benefits Account Executive, (Portland, OR)

Our client, a Top 10 National Broker with over 900 employees nationally is seeking a Group Benefits Account Executive with technical and/or data analytics background, who would enjoy direct client interaction as well as participation in meetings with clients and prospective clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

•Well positioned and growing in Atlanta, Birmingham, Dallas, Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Portland, San Antonio, St. Louis and Seattle
•The Portland office was established in 2006 and currently has a staff of 40.
•Growing at an annual rate of over 15% for the last several years.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the experience and/or skills to be able to work with large benefits clients and prospects, up to 5,000 lives and perhaps self-insured on the benefits plan. General requirements for the position are:
•Life/Health Insurance License preferred or will need to be obtained
•Preferred 5 years of experience in life and health industry in a technical role with a broker or carrier
•Proficient in excel and data analytic programs
•Proactive project management, organization and adherence to deadlines
•Production of professional client deliverables, which can be presented to C-suite customers
•Strong colleague and client relation skills to build and maintain positive business relationships internally and externally with clients and vendor partners
•Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
•Attention to detail
•Resourceful and ability to work with minimal supervision
