LOSS CONTROL INSPECTOR - COMMERCIAL P / C INSURANCE-NYC (NYLCI)

A Property & Casualty commercial insurance company is looking for a fulltime Loss Control Inspector to conduct risk assessments as part of their Loss Control team. You will work predominantly in Brooklyn and Queens in New York City documenting the risks. You will provide multiline loss control evaluations, physical surveys, loss analyses, reports and recommendations for improvements for customers as well as assisting the underwriters in their evaluation of risk. You will need to work with minimal supervision and you responsible for the loss control services in your territory. The writing of clear and concise loss control reports is an important ongoing task of this position as well as your computer skills to utilize the LCS software. Qualifications for this Position: � Bachelor�s Degree, preferably in Engineering or Science � One-three years of insurance industry loss control inspection experience � Able to review loss control reports from third party inspectors � Valid driving license with a good record Competitive salary near $50K, transportation allowance and full benefits package.
